Background
Paul J. Pomeroy has been serving on Newark City Council since April of 2005.
Paul is a native Delawarean who lives in Nottingham Manor with his wife, Catherine, son, Paul and daughter, Julia.
Work Experience
In addition to his work on City Council, Paul is the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Aloysius, Butler & Clark—a Delaware full-service marketing agency.
Prior to AB&C, he was the senior communications consultant for a DC-based consulting firm that specializes in grassroots communication strategy and implementation.
More recently, he served as national director of Economic Security 2000, a non-partisan education and lobbying organization.

Education
Paul graduated from Archmere Academy in Claymont, Delaware, where both of his parents were teachers.
He received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in marketing from Georgetown University, where he was a John Carroll scholar.
He also holds a Master’s degree from The George Washington University’s School of Public Administration and Policy.
