Introducing Customer Connect, the City of Newark's upgraded utility portal!

The City of Newark is pleased to announce the launch of Customer Connect, a new online portal to your utility account. The advanced upgrade will provide you with interactive modules and access to more current, detailed information related to your water and electric consumption. You will be able to monitor usage charts, enroll in electronic billing, schedule custom alerts, make automatic payments, analyze utility bills and request service directly through your Customer Connect portal.

Please note that your eCare account will be disabled in the coming weeks, and we ask that you re-register your account in Customer Connect by visiting the new Customer Connect portal at https://payments.cityofnewarkde.us. Please be sure to have a valid, active e-mail address and your most recent utility bill handy during registration. You will need both as part of the account validation process.

The City is required to utilize our local financial institution's lockbox to process payments in a timely manner. The Customer Service Department is open for live payment processing Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
